HVAC Units Take Flight for Second Wave Expansion

Published: November 26, 2024

Today at the National Museum of the Great Lakes, we hit another milestone in our Second Wave expansion—and this one was a real showstopper! With the help of cranes and an expert crew, we watched as brand-new HVAC units “took flight,” soaring up to their new home atop the roof of our soon-to-be 5,000-square-foot addition.

The new HVAC system is a vital component of the space, ensuring a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for our exhibits and guests. Seeing these massive units lifted and secured was not only an engineering marvel but also a reminder of the progress we’re making as we bring this vision to life.
