Inland Seas

A Publication of the National Museum of the Great Lakes and the Great Lakes Historical Society

Become an Inland Seas Member

Inland Seas has been the corner stone of the Great Lakes Historical Society since the organization first started in 1945/6. We have been publishing Great Lakes history for over 75 years, and plan to do it for another 75.  All this time, these stories have intrigued our readers and  shared the breadth of influence the Great Lakes has had across North America.  This journal is one of the reasons why we have such a strong membership base across the country, and not just in the Greater Toledo area.

Are you unsure if you are interested in getting this journal four times a year?  Do you want to see what we have published in the past?  Take a look at a collection of past articles.
