Museums for All

How it Works

Everyone should have the opportunity to explore the stories of the Great Lakes. Through our participation in Museums for All, with support from UToledo Health and Toledo Refining, individuals and families receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can enjoy free admission to the National Museum of the Great Lakes and our historic museum ships.

Explore interactive exhibits, discover artifacts, step aboard historic vessels, and experience the people, places, and events that have shaped the Great Lakes—all at no cost.

Who Qualifies

Individuals and families receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits).

What you Receive

Receive free entry for up to four people, including access to all museum exhibits and our historic museum ships (during their open season).

How to Redeem

Present your valid SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and a valid photo ID at our front desk. No advance reservation required.

Inside the museum at a Blige Pump activity, two people laugh as they do the activity.
