Racing Number

Similar to any other sporting event, a number worn or used by the competitors is associated with their name. This flag would have been flown at the pinnacle of the vessel in plain view. The letter and number code tell  the judges and event staff of the crew members on board, the vessel’s name, and the type of vessel.
