New Cranes
New Cranes
After many years of working with “Big Lucas” and “Little Lucas”, the Port of Toledo installed two new cargo cranes at the Port Authority. These new cranes are more maneuverable than the rail based old gantry cranes and use only 25% of the fuel of the old cranes. Once again, students were asked to submit recommendations for names for the new cranes and Madison Phillips chose “Muddy” and “Spike” after the two professional sports teams in Toledo.
