The current wheat flour mill was originally built in 1976 and is now owned and operated by Mondelēz International. Prior to Mondelēz International taking ownership, Nabisco and Kraft were in ownership after merging in 2000, the two companies split 8 years later and the Nabisco name was removed and Kraft was formed into Mondelēz International. The mill is not only one of the largest mills in the United States but Internationally as well making it one of the leading producers of flour in the world.
