Over the last decade, the Toledo MetroParks have been working hard to develop parklands in the metro area of downtown Toledo. Some of this has been reclamation projects like Middlegrounds Park, where over 8,000 tons of debris was removed to create the sustainable 28 acres of land. While the park is on land, it allows enjoyment of the water as a background and something beautiful to behold to visitors.
