Maumee River Today

Maumee River Today

This image is a perfect example of what the Maumee River is today. Shown is the increasing banking industry in town as well as the development of the east bank and the restaurants for personal enjoyment. In the foreground is the Sandpiper, a tour boat on the Maumee and behind it is the Federal Welland, a saltie, being escorted by a Great Lakes Towing Tugboat. The use and beauty of what the river has to offer is perfectly encapsulated in this single image.
