Liebherr Delivery
With the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1959, physical restrictions on trade with foreign countries were eliminated. This image shows an early delivery in January 2005 from Liebherr, a Swiss and German heavy machinery manufacturer. You can see “Little Lucas” assisting with the unloading of these parts. The Port of Toledo has a long relationship with this European company, they constructed Muddy and Spike in 2010.
