The Port of Toledo still sees a lot of recreational use by individuals. This early morning kayaker, with modern technology, was able to capture a beautiful image of NMGL’s own Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship in August 2020. The stillness of the river, at times, makes amazing opportunities for solo adventures on the Maumee.
