Glass City Metropark

Glass City Metropark

The new Glass City Metropark is being built right next door to the National Museum of the Great Lakes. This image is from October 2020, during construction. Approximately 20 metro parks are found in the Toledo area and along the Maumee River. This new metro park will feature an amphitheater, rock climbing, water access for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing during the warmer months, while also having a sledding hill and ice skating ribbon during the winter months. This new park is ideal for year round activity with kayak rentals and an ice skating ribbon.  Be sure to check it out after visiting the National Museum of the Great Lakes.
