FANCHON Name Flag

One of the oldest flags in our collection at the National Museum of the Great Lakes is this name flag from the yacht Fanchon, owned by John Doller of Put-In-Bay Yacht Club dating back to the late 1800s. It is unknown as to what type of vessel the Fanchon was, but it participated in yacht races as it was a “champion of its day.”
