Come down to the National Museum of the Great Lakes on August 25 and learn all about this amazing possibility. Chris Gillcrist will present a history of freighter trips using photographs and manuscript material from the Archives. Meet and talk with individuals who have been lucky enough to take a freighter trip! This is a free event; snacks, beer, and wine are included.

Those people that purchase Luck of the Lakes Raffle tickets at this event will be entered into a special drawing for one of two prizes
1) Lunch for 4 and a tour of an Interlake Steamship Vessel.
2) An afternoon trip for 6 aboard the J.W. Westcott II to deliver mail to a freighter in the Detroit River. A picnic lunch is included.
