June 20, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This program is by invitation only to those that register early for our “Museum Tug Ohio Dedication and New Tug Ohio Christening Ceremony”

Making of a Museum Tug: The History of the Great Lakes Towing Company by Paul LaMarre, III, Chair of the Vessel Committee at National Museum of the Great Lakes.

Paul LaMarre will introduce you to the vast history of the Great Lakes Towing Company, and their work all across the Great Lakes since incorporating in 1899.  It was the kind donation of Great Lakes Towing and their parent group, The Great Lakes Group, which has brought the Tug Ohio to the museum.

This lecture is for the first 50 people to register for the Museum Tug Ohio Dedication and New Tug Ohio Christening to be held on Friday, June 21.  Once you have registered for the Dedication and Christening, you will be invited to this lecture.  You can register here:
