
Carrie Sowden, Archaeological Director of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, will present “The Archaeology of the Battle of Lake Erie and the War of 1812”. This presentation will highlight the events of the Battle of Lake Erie and cover the work done by the National Museum of the Great Lakes and the Cleveland Underwater Explorers to identify the site where the battle took place in Lake Erie. It will be finished with highlights from other War of 1812 vessels that have been found across the Great Lakes.
