History Happy Hour – Sailor Stories

July 1 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

- $25 – $30

Add some history to your happy hour! Come enjoy and learn more about our historic lake freighter, while winding down from a busy day.

Grab your friends for happy hour drinks to explore the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship after hours. Learn more about the ship’s history from its early years on the lakes to the current restoration efforts.

The History Happy Hour series mixes maritime history with everyday fun by giving guests an opportunity to grab a drink and check out our museum exhibits after hours, while also providing an exclusive experience to interact with history.

History Happy Hour: Sailor Stories is the first in what the museum hopes will be a series of events offering themed, after-hour access to the museum and its various exhibits. The event costs $25 for members or $30 for non-members and includes drinks, light snacks, and interactive storytelling while touring the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship after-hours.

Tickets are timed and we ask guests to arrive within 15 minutes of their chosen time to help with crowd control. Guests should anticipate 1 – 1 1/2 hours to fully enjoy the complete experience.
