“The Gales of November” by Christopher Gillcrist, Executive Director, NMGL
Due to unforeseen complications, Victoria Brehm, our planned speaker for this lecture will be unable to join us. Our Executive Director Christopher Gillcrist is stepping up to fill this void with a new program. “The Gales of November” will address different myths and perceptions of Great Lakes shipwrecks to determine what basis these ideas may have in actual data. Was November really the most dangerous month on the Great Lakes? Were the majority of Great Lakes shipwrecks caused by bad weather? These and other questions will be explored during this program.
This program is free with museum admission. Members are always free.
Registration is required.
You can also register by calling 419.214.5000 ext. 200 or by emailing reservations@inlandseas.org
