The Wolf Finally Came, Again: Weathering the Great Recession on the Great Lakes by Chris Winters, Photographer and Historian.

Join photographer and historian Chris Winters as he discusses how the Great Lakes shipping industry was impacted by the 2008 Great Recession. Together, we’ll discuss topics such as the planned conversion of the John Sherwin (whose propeller sits in front of NMGL) and the unexpected last passage of the Edward L. Ryerson (which Winters was lucky enough to be aboard during its final trip).

Lectures are included in the cost of museum admission. MEMBERS ARE FREE.
