
Carrie Sowden, Archaeological Director of NMGL, will present “Black Friday – October 20, 1916”. This will be a part of the Mariner’s Remembrance that is held annually on the anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Part of the commemoration that evening will be a presentation about the story of the worst day in commercial shipping on Lake Erie, four ships were lost and over 50 lives.
