James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the Museum Tug Ohio on Saturday, September 13 at 11 am or 1 pm. This is more than just a guided tour — it’s a rare opportunity to explore areas of our historic ships that are typically off-limits to the public and get an insider’s view of the hidden spaces that keep these vessels running.

From the Schoonmaker’s original boiler bricks to the latest restoration efforts, you’ll get up close and personal with maritime history — all from the unique perspective of a chief engineer.
