Dredging the Maumee
Dredging the Maumee
A tugboat takes on countless amounts of jobs and responsibilities when working the Maumee River and Port of Toledo. For Thomas R. Morrish one of those responsibilities is assisting a dredging crane laboring in the Maumee. Consistent dredging, paired with proper disposal of the removed debris is a key factor in maintaining access for incoming and outgoing vessels. Due to dredging the Port of Toledo remains absolutely accessible to any size vessel including the 1000 footers.
