2016 National Museum of the Great Lakes Christmas Card

For 48 years, Alexander Cook has been creating art for exclusive Christmas Cards for the Great Lakes Historical Society and the National Museum of the Great Lakes.  Mr. Cook was an editorial cartoonist for the Plain Dealer and an art teacher for many years.  He is a director emeritus for the National Museum of the Great Lakes and one of his greatest joys is painting this card for us every year.  Over the last half century, these cards have become collectables and people look eagerly forward to receiving them.

This year’s card is a scene of Graham and Morton Ship Canal, Benton Harbor, MI, circa 1880.  The interior says “Season’s Greetings”
