All Aboard for Great Lakes Learning
The “All Aboard for Great Lakes Learning” initiative, presented by Signature Bank, will provide 3rd-6th grade Lucas County students the opportunity to connect with the National Museum of the Great Lakes either through a complimentary visit to the museum or by our staff providing curriculum-based programming at the school.
Since 2017, the State of Ohio no longer requires k-12 testing in social studies or history. The National Museum of the Great Lakes is committed to ensuring that school systems throughout the Toledo metropolitan area have access to quality, curriculum-based experiences that promote the study of social studies and history.

EXPLORE THE MUSEUM
The National Museum of the Great Lakes reveals the varied and fascinating history of our treasured Great Lakes, which make up 84% of all of the fresh water in North America. Come explore the history of the world's greatest natural resource—from canoes and schooners to early steamers and freighters—some of which ply the mighty Maumee River right next to the Museum.
